Irish Blood scandal spectre still looms large

The events surrounding the blood scandal of the mid-1990s have re-emerged this week following the news that Crumlin Children's Hospital is recalling around 70 former patients who who were given blood products between 1991 and 1994 which were not adequately screened for Hepatitis C.
